So the flat complex I am living in is owned by Interstudy
(my study abroad program) and located a 10-15 minute drive from campus. It is
known to the community as“The Nest” and
rightly so; the building is four floors tall shaped like a hallowed square with a courtyard at the center. The building is a bit aged but, surprisingly,
each flat is pretty decent. We all have single rooms joined by a shared kitchen
and bathroom with one other roommate.
And my roomie put this one together!
We took an adventurous grocery run this evening navigating public transportation by ourselves--more on that one later--and were successful to say the least. Our place may be small (no more than most college accommodations) but it sure it is finally starting to feel like a home!

Can we stop by for dinner? Kinda hungry now.
